Civate Redevelopment

Redevelopment of an abandoned structure in Civate (Lecco). The project took into consideration the existing structure's historical identity and focused on creating multiple functions to host tourists, residents and events. Included within the project are five apartments, a hostel, an outdoor relaxation area, an outdoor theatre, a restaurant, a covered event space and a space designed to hold a store. Conceptually, the most important element taken into consideration has been recognisability. Taking into account the existing materials and forms while trying to harmonuously integrate new architecture that does not compete with the old but rather works together to create a functional and pleasing space for users.
